Clutch

Clutch

The clutch is a mechanical component in manual transmission cars that connects and disconnects the engine from the wheels, allowing you to shift gears. When you press the clutch pedal, the clutch disengages power so you can switch gears smoothly. A worn clutch can slip, making the engine rev high without accelerating properly, or feel stiff and hard to press. Replacing the clutch restores proper engagement and performance.
