Manual Transmission

A manual transmission requires the driver to manually shift gears using a gear stick and clutch pedal. It’s generally more fuel-efficient and gives the driver more control over the vehicle. Like an automatic, it uses gears and shafts to transfer power, but requires driver input for every shift. Grinding noises, difficulty shifting, or slipping out of gear are signs of internal wear and may require service or repair.
