Heater Blower Motor

The heater blower motor is responsible for blowing air through the vents—hot, cold, or in between. It's what you hear spinning when you increase fan speed. If the blower motor fails, airflow will be weak or nonexistent regardless of temperature settings. You might also hear squealing or grinding sounds before it stops working completely. Replacing the motor usually restores full airflow in the cabin.
