Radiator/Cooling Fan

The radiator fan (or cooling fan) helps move air over the radiator when the car isn’t moving fast enough to cool it naturally—like in traffic or while idling. It turns on automatically when needed, based on engine temperature. A failing fan can cause the engine to overheat, especially in hot weather or stop-and-go driving. Common issues include faulty fan motors, relays, or temperature sensors.
