Overheated Engine

An overheated engine occurs when the temperature rises beyond normal limits, often due to low coolant, a failed thermostat, broken water pump, or clogged radiator. You might see steam from under the hood, a rising temperature gauge, or a dashboard warning. Continuing to drive an overheated engine can cause permanent damage. It's crucial to shut off the engine, let it cool, and diagnose the root cause immediately.
